Streets Kitchen, Haringey Council and Islington Council are working in solidarity again to host ‘Streets Fest’ for the second year. The event is happening in Finsbury Park on Tuesday 10th September 2019 from 2-8pm – bringing together all essential services for the homeless…
This is a health & wellbeing event for those who are homeless or vulnerably housed. The event will provide a ‘one stop shop’ for people to access a wide range of different support agencies in the same place, on the same day. We hope that bringing services outdoors in this way will increase accessibility and reach those in most need.

A positive by-product of this event is that it will also provide those agencies who have very kindly volunteered their time and support an opportunity to network and make new links with services they may not be currently working with. We hope that this will be beneficial and will provide further collaboration and innovative opportunities to work together.
Some of the support available on the day includes healthcare, housing advice, education, training and employment, women’s specific services as well as service user groups and a wide range of other agencies. There will be music, food and a relaxed and fun atmosphere on the day. We will be located nearest the Manor House Tube Station entrance to the park.
This event will be advertised through outreach sessions, day centres and homeless agencies in Haringey and Islington.
This event is also open to members of the public who can come along to find out more about the support that is available and also how they can help. We will be using social media to advertise this to members of the public and would ask that you also promote this to anyone you think may be interested or might like to get involved.
We hope that you will be able to come along on the day to give your support, find out more and also have some fun!
